REMILK
PACKAGING/BRANDING
OVERVIEW
Remilk is revolutionizing the dairy industry by producing real dairy products through microbial fermentation, eliminating the need for cows. This process is similar to how wine or beer is made.
By harnessing science, Remilk creates milk that delivers the same taste and nutritional benefits as traditional dairy, but without the environmental, ethical, and health drawbacks.
Remilk empowers people to enjoy dairy in a cruelty-free and planet-friendly way, making better choices for themselves and future generations.
AUDIENCE
Focusing specifically on young, health and environmentally conscious individuals, Remilk promotes microbial fermented milk as a positive alternative to regular dairy. Plant based alternatives and sustainability are huge to the gen z/millenial audience right now.
“Studies have found that 88% of customers want to buy from companies that help them make a difference, and 76% of Americans would switch their preferred packaged goods brands if they were offsetting carbon emissions” (Separators, 2023).

THE MICROBE/UDDER
The microbe/udder icon is the most important element of Remilk’s logo. It symbolizes the microbial fermentation process used to create the milk, while also referencing the fact that the product contains real dairy proteins—hence the nod to a cow’s udder.

AI INVOLVEMENT
Adobe Firefly and Photoshop were used to create all mockup images, including the bottle carrier and the bottles themselves. By creating a greyscale 2D value rendering of the object that I wanted to mockup, Firefly was able to read and create something similar to what was needed. From there images were imported into photoshop, edited, and then reinserted into Firefly until the desired mockup was created.
One of the prompts used for this was “realistic blank mockup make it smaller; make the background lighter”.
Bottles went through a similar process, except no 2D value rendering was used. One prompt here was “glass test tube mockup”.
These are the final bottle mockups, which had gone through several rounds of Photoshop touchups and Firefly prompts.
Remilk’s bottles were inspired on test tubes, as well as vintage milk delivery service. The design of the bottle is reminiscent of something you might see in a lab, but the reusable cork and carrier bring to mind the beginnings of bottled milk itself.
